Royal Feast

Wedding reception with a unique atmosphere, under the direction of our chef, will delight not only romantics but also gourmets. We offer several traditional wedding menus, or we can create a tailor-made royal banquet together. Drinks, a wedding cake, a sweet bar, and original decorations, including flowers, can all be easily arranged.

In case of bad weather, it is possible to move the ceremony to the covered terrace, which is located next to the iconic tower of Hněvín Castle.

Free parking

There are two car parks near Hněvín Castle. 22 cars can park comfortably right at the gate to the castle. In the parking lot by the waterworks (about 2 minutes by car or 5-10 minutes on foot) another 30 vehicles can park.

Without barriers

The gardens of Hněvín Castle, as well as the restaurant, snack bar and toilets are wheelchair accessible.

What do you need to arrange before booking a date with us?

You must first contact the Most Town Hall or your priest and book an appointment with them: link to the registry office. If necessary, our wedding coordinator will guide you and arrange a visit to the town hall in advance.

What is the capacity for ceremonies and receptions?

The capacity of of the upper garden is 90 people.

The lower garden has a capacity for more than 200 people for the ceremony and reception.

The reception at the observatory is suitable for any number of guests up to approximately 110 people.

What parking options are available?

There are two car parks at Hněvín Castle. 22 cars can park comfortably right next to the castle. The second car park by the waterworks (about 2 minutes by car or 5-10 minutes on foot from the castle) can park another 30 vehicles.

Do you offer refreshments before the ceremony?

Yes, we can provide a drinks package, canapés, open sandwiches or mini cakes (including wedding cakes). We definitely recommend this, especially on hot summer days (this way you can make sure your guests aren’t thirsty, squeezing into a booth, or holding plastic water bottles for wedding photos).

Is it possible to rent the whole castle?

Yes, it is possible to rent the entire Hněvín Castle exclusively or just a part of it (e.g. the courtyard by the observatory).

Other services? What is included?

The rental price includes the reservation of the wedding ceremony on the day and time of the ceremony, wedding decorations (ceremony gate, counter for the officiant, chairs for 22 seated guests and small decorations), wedding toast for the newlyweds and the officiant, sound system for the entire ceremony, reservation of parking spaces, subsequent cleaning of the premises, on-site coordinator services. Possible arrangement of other services (florist, make-up artist, photo/video and DJ/band) by agreement. We have plenty of great contacts for proven vendors.
